Registration Details Please read carefully! · Mon, Feb. 11th @ 12 Noon EST: Priority Registration for returning applicants · Wed, Feb. 13th @ 10 AM EST: Open Registration for all applicants For now, we have a tentative departure date for our UC group: May 12th On the “Date Request Form” you should request to depart during: “Mid-May” Please remember: anyone who requests departure dates that do not coincide with our trip, will not be placed on our trip! Registration is this Wednesday! Click for Details. Here are a couple helpful hints: Passport information: Applicants will be able to submit their application without their Passport information. However, we will require their passport information at least 45 days prior to departure in order to ticket them should they be placed on a trip. Please ensure you get your passport info in ASAP. Passports must be valid for at least six months after the trip. Expect site traffic: Both the Birthright & Mayanot systems will experience a lot of traffic during Registration. This might slow the application process down. There is nothing we can do about it. Acceptances are NOT on a first-come-first-serve basis and all applicants within the first 48 hours will be treated equally. Be patient, breathe, try again and everything WILL be OK! Contact us directly: If you have questions you should email or call Paul Cooper Vitale - (513) 709-7175 or Rabbi Yitz - (513) 751-2288. Or call Ilana at Mayanot -- 212-980-3414 extension 205. If you email questions to her during registration day, please try to keep it short and to the point so she can respond as quickly as possible. Two part application: The application works in two parts (below is a full breakdown). The first part is the 8-step Birthright application. Within 48 hours you will receive an email from Mayanot providing you with login details to fill out the second part of the application. This 2nd part of the application is not as time sensitive. The Date Request Form is the most time sensitive part of the Mayanot application – this is where you will request departure dates, mention your group leader, recruiter code, and friends you want to travel with. Please coordinate with Paul or Rabbi Yitz so he can make sure you have filled out everything to give you and the entire group the best chance of all going together. Without submitting the Date Request Form, we can not place you on any trip. Remember, in order to be considered for your school group, you must request your school and your departure date time period (see highlighted section below). 1. Taglit-Birthright Israel Application a.
